IWearYourShirt.com Hiring Process – 2 Week Update
So, we’ve officially been hiring for 2 weeks today. That’s 14 days of asking people to submit YouTube video resumes to join me in t-shirt wearing for 2011. I’m going to be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect when we launched but the response has been fantastic. I don’t think numbers and analytics are the most important factor, but I did want to share some stats around the IWYS Hiring process.
In 2 weeks we’ve had:
- 34 video applications submitted
- 13,782 total video application views (YouTube)
- 36,510 page impressions to the IWYS Hiring pages
- 2,655 total comments on video applications
- 1,631 total Facebook Likes (from all video applications)
- 815 total Tweets (from all video applications)
I’ve got to say that’s pretty awesome. How much money have I spent advertising our hiring process? $0.00. How valuable is every single video, like, tweet and comment? Priceless. Sorry to be cheesy, but I 100% believe that this hiring process is going to be huge for IWYS. Not only in finding 4 people to join me in 2011, but also to continue to build the community and to give more exposure to the IWYS sponsors (daily, monthly and partners).
