Netflix Announces Qwikster, Netflix is the next Blockbuster
I think it’s a terrible move for Netflix. Instead of worrying so much about the DVD being a dying technology, they should be focusing on the digital rights game, on letting their consumers be more social and on humanizing their brand. Rebranding is almost always a marketing/PR move and Netflix is trying to dig out of the hole they dug themselves with their recent price hike.
