Pick My Brain (I’ll Call You, Maybe?)

When it comes to starting your own business, there is so much time and money you can save by talking to someone with experience. Experienced people are often called “mentors,” but I’m looking for a couple one-night stands, not any long term relationships.

I’m setting up the opportunity to do a weekly call so I can help entrepreneurs and business owners. I greatly value the time that I’ve had (and continue to have) to pick the brains of successful business people. I know I can help entrepreneurs avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made over the years, and those mistakes can save you money, and more importantly, TIME.

The structure of these weekly calls are what you make of it. I’m thinking we’ll set a standard weekly time of 10am EST on Thursdays, and the calls can be done via phone or Skype (I’ll have to do my hair for Skype). The length of the call will be 60 minutes maximum, and I’d advise anyone interested to have questions ready ahead of time. While I’d love to get on the phone and chat about LeBron James, I’d rather hear about your business, your struggles, your goals and how I can lend any knowledge. Oh, by the way, this is a FREE thing I want to do. Call it my monthly quota of good will.

So, if you’re interested, please send an email to jason@iwearyourshirt.com with your name, phone number, business/website and anything else. I’ll be creating a list of people who contact me and will let them know if they get picked each week (picking will be completely random).

I hope to chat with you soon!
